Aerosmith "Just Push Play" Review
By Alex

Aerosmith's new album "Just Push Play" may not be their best work but is defiantly worth taking a listen too if you are a rock 'n roll or Aerosmith fan. This album does not have a clear stand out song, which is odd for a rock group of this stature and the closes song to a radio release is Jaded.

If you are someone who likes Aerosmith's newer songs that receive a lot of radio play this album is not for you, however if you like good old high energy rock 'n roll you need to buy this. It starts off in traditional Aerosmith style with the song "Beyond Beautiful" and the title track "Just Push Play". Both of these songs have a nice melody and feature the heavy guitar play of Joe Perry and ripping vocals of Steve Tyler. "Jaded" is next, I am not a big fan of this song and feel it lacks the quality of most Aerosmith songs but it has been getting heavy radio play. I really enjoy "Fly Away From Here" it has a nice smooth melody and a touching aspect to it that Aerosmith brings to its softer side.

My Favorite song on this album is track number 6 "Sunshine", which has great lyrics and good blues beat and guitar riffs to back it up. The other song I really enjoy is track 7 "Under My Skin", all I can say is rock 'n roll. This is not Aerosmith's greatest album by any stretch but it is not there worst either. I enjoy it because it has high energy and you can tell the group enjoys the music. To me it feels like a good jam session from one of the greatest rock groups in history (however I am very bias when it comes to Aerosmith).
