Photograph Description:
Since photography is just my hobby I don't have the money for the tools I really
need for every occasion, so on this day I was stuck with my 50mm fixed lens. My
75mm - 300mm just doesn't have the f-stop to keep up with the action of this event
so most of the pictures are really wide angles. I was fortunate enough that this
Confederate cavalry soldier road right by the grandstand so I was able to get a
pretty decent close up. Again I used some sepia toning to give the portrait an older
feel and cropped it a bit to center the subject.
