U.S.S. Indianapolis
January 31, 2009

This is a picture of the U.S.S. Indianapolis National Memorial that is located in Downtown Indianapolis off the canal at Senate Ave & Walnut St. The Indianapolis was sunk near the end of World War Two and out of the 1,196 crew members in the end only 316 men survived. The survivors spent four days in open shark invested waters with mostly no food or water.

I will be writing a blog on this but if you don't want to wait and would like further reading check out their site at www.ussindianapolis.org.

The Grotto Falls & Me
May 30, 2009

This picture was taken May 16th on Greg and my bi-annual trip when we went to the Smoky Mountain National Park. This is me standing behind the Grotto Falls which is just a magnificent sight in person and I cannot even begin to put down in words the beauty of this place. It was just a relaxing atmosphere with all of the sights and sounds of nature, and the sound of the falls itself just made one very relaxed. I cannot wait to go back.

Four Generations of Hauck's
July 31, 2009

This one of only two pictures I have showing the four generations of my sir name, and the other one was taken at the same time. One of the things I regret is not trying to get a few more pictures before my grandfather past away, along with getting one done with a better camera. While my grandfather could be trying at times he generally did love us and it would had been nice to have a better picture of us all together.
